Day Twenty-Eight: Name one thing you believed as a young person that you changed your mind about.

Wow, this is tough to swallow, and even tougher to talk about. When I was a kid, I was totally convinced the entertainment business was the only thing I'd ever do. Seriously, TV was like my second home. I was glued to 'Making The Video' and 'TRL,' and those dreams were basically my vision board before I even knew what a vision board was. I chased that dream hard, diving into musical theater, training my voice, the whole shebang. But, turns out, all that hard work, dedication, time, sweat, and tears? It still didn't guarantee me a 'spot' in the whole celebrity thing.

I got a lot of 'no's'—from casting directors, stage directors, choreographers, and even my parents. It finally hit me: breaking into that industry was no joke. Maybe it happens later for some, and maybe it still could for me. But as I got older, the whole dream of couch surfing and moving city to city to chase a stage dream started feeling less like a dream and more like a total fantasy—one that just didn't fit into my real life. Thinking back on what I used to believe as a kid, those wild dreams of stardom are long gone…
